The Timeslip Restoration at the Malay Heritage Centre

With a click, the door opens and you enter the building! As you enter the upper floor of the Centre, you sense a disturbance in the timeflow. When you try to move forward, a shimmering wall seems to block your way.

Inspector Kay regards the wall. "Looks like Professor Chronicle is playing with time and history again."

Let's try to fix the disturbance!

Hat box

Sitting in the main room is a storage box for hats. There's still room for one more hat in the box.

To the Kitchen

If you'd like to visit the "Kitchen", you can click the menu button on the top left of your screen.

To the Boats

It's strange, but in the room beyond this doorway, you can see a large ship coming out of the wall. The sounds of a shipyard can be heard. To visit this room, click the "Shipyard" menu button on the top left of your screen.

Ticket required

As you try to walk to the next area, an invisible wall stops you. A small slot appears in front of you, with a label above it. "Ticket required."

A red songkok sits in the kitchen. It looks new and unworn.

The ambin

The ambin is a raised platform usually placed in the kitchen. The ambin serves as a multi-functional piece of furniture where a household could receive guests, rest or relax on, or use as a kitchen counter or a temporary shelf.

On the table are some cooking and eating utensils.

Ceramic Plates

There are some ceramic plates on the wall shelves. You consider bringing these plates with you, but decide that they are too fragile for packing.

Travel belt

The tali pinggang haj or the haj travel belt was thought to have been created and developed in Singapore by Haji Yusoff bin Mohamed Noor. As Singapore was then a hub for pilgrims to gather before their travels to Mecca, his business was well-received and later exported regionally.

The Ship

A large ship emerges from the picture on the wall. As you and Inspector Kay approach the ship, you see the storage bay with a blinking sign that says "Loading". If you have a trunk to load onto the ship, you could put it here.
